COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BATTERY STORAGE
AlphaESS STORION-LC-TB125
all-in-one liquid-cooled cabinet
STORION-LC-TB125 combines a 125 kW-class power conversion system with 261.2 kWh of lithium iron phosphate battery storage, energy management, battery management, liquid cooling and product-specific fire protection within a pre-assembled outdoor cabinet.
It is designed for commercial and industrial projects requiring a larger step in power and capacity, with connected control and the potential to scale through an approved multi-cabinet architecture.

Control storage around the way the site uses energy
STORION-LC-TB125 supports scheduled charging and discharging, solar self-consumption, demand control and generator-related strategies through its energy management system.
Modbus TCP and API connectivity can support approved third-party energy platforms, optimisation services and flexibility-market integrations. Available functions depend on the UK system configuration, metering, communications and selected service.

Layered protection and operating visibility
STORION-LC-TB125 uses lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry together with cell and system monitoring, liquid-cooled thermal management and product-specific fire-response provisions.
Current AlphaESS product information references smoke and temperature detection, aerosol response and sprinkler protection. The exact features and evidence should be confirmed against the approved UK product documentation before publication.
Together, these measures provide layered protection within the cabinet, supporting early detection, thermal management and product-specific fire response.
Combined with appropriate site design, professional commissioning and planned maintenance, these protections form part of a wider project-specific fire and operational safety strategy.

Backup is an engineered option
An optional static transfer switch cabinet can support compatible backup configurations, with the current datasheet referencing switching of up to 20 ms.
Actual continuity depends on the complete electrical architecture, supported loads, stored energy, system power limits, protection settings and commissioning. Backup must not be described as automatically supporting the entire site or providing uninterrupted power in every circumstance.
The datasheet notes that the STS cabinet is a separate outdoor cabinet, not part of the main TB125 enclosure.

Turning site data into a
workable storage strategy
Each main cabinet provides 261.2 kWh of battery capacity with a 125 kW class power conversion system. The cabinet measures approximately 1,003 mm wide, 1,500 mm deep and 2,482 mm high, with a stated weight of approximately 3.3 tonnes.
Optional DC/DC and STS equipment uses separate outdoor cabinets. A complete project may use one or more TB125 units, subject to the approved system architecture and UK product limits.
Compatible backup operation is available using an additional STS cabinet. The current datasheet references switching of up to 20 ms. Supported loads, available power, switching performance and expected backup duration must be designed and commissioned specifically for the site.
Multi-cabinet operation is possible within an approved system architecture. The permitted number of units depends on the product revision, operating mode, control architecture and project requirements. AlphaESS UK will confirm the applicable limits during technical design.
