AlphaCloud monitoring

A clearer view of system operation

Through AlphaCloud and the AlphaESS App, users of compatible systems can view reported information about solar generation, battery charge, household or site consumption and electricity exchanged with the grid. Depending on the installed system and account permissions, users may also be able to access schedules, operating modes and selected system settings.

Displayed information depends on the system’s internet connection, communications equipment and reporting interval. AlphaCloud should support understanding and operation of the system, but it does not replace professional system design, installation or technical assessment.

The AlphaESS App gives end users mobile access to the monitoring and management functions available for their compatible AlphaESS system. Users can view how electricity is generated, stored and used, check battery status and access supported settings. This can help households and businesses better understand system operation and make informed decisions about their energy use.

Features, data intervals and available controls vary by product, system configuration, connectivity, firmware and account permissions.

ALPHA PARTNER APP

Operational visibility for commercial & industrial energy management

The AlphaPartner App gives approved installers a single mobile workspace to register, commission and manage AlphaESS systems. Installers can configure devices, complete installation records, monitor systems and access technical guidance, service requests and ongoing support. Individual team accounts and assigned roles also help installation companies work securely and efficiently.

Installed as part of a complete system

Once commissioned, homeowners can use the AlphaESS App to view system performance and configured energy flows. AlphaCloud access and available functions depend on the system, account type and approved support route.

FAQs
Is AlphaCloud free?

Core AlphaCloud monitoring is available for compatible AlphaESS systems. Available features, services and any associated terms depend on the installed product, system configuration and account type.

Can AlphaCloud control every AlphaESS product?
No. Available monitoring and control functions vary depending on the AlphaESS system, product model, firmware, connectivity and user account permissions.
What should I do if my system data stops updating?
First, check that the system has an active internet connection and follow the approved AlphaESS connectivity guidance. If the data still does not update, contact your authorised installer or the appropriate AlphaESS UK support route with your system and account details.
What is the AlphaPartner App?
AlphaPartner is a dedicated mobile app for approved AlphaESS installers, installation companies, distributors and other authorised partners. It brings system installation, commissioning, management and support tools into one connected workspace.
What can installers do through AlphaPartner?
Installers can register systems, scan equipment, configure network connections, complete commissioning steps and manage installation records. Available functions can also include device settings, system information, self-tests and service ticket management.
Is AlphaPartner the same as the homeowner AlphaESS App?
No. AlphaPartner is designed for professional installers and authorised partners. Homeowners use the separate AlphaESS App to view and manage the functions available for their installed system.
Can an installation company add multiple team members?
Yes. Installation companies can create individual accounts for team members, assign appropriate roles and manage access. This supports more secure and accountable working than sharing one company login.
Can installers monitor systems after commissioning?
AlphaPartner provides access to system and device information for compatible installations. The monitoring and management functions available depend on the product, firmware, account permissions and current app version.
Can installers access technical support through the app?
The app provides access to official guidance, product documents, FAQs and service functions. Installers can also submit supported service requests and follow the progress of existing tickets.
Who can register for an AlphaPartner account?

Approved installation partner organisations can follow the relevant registration process. Individual installers may need to be invited by their organisation's administrator, while distributor and retailer accounts are normally created through AlphaESS. Visit the Become an Approved Installer page.

Where can installers download AlphaPartner?

The AlphaPartner App gives approved installers and authorised partners access to supported system registration, commissioning, device management and service functions. Available tools depend on the user’s organisation, assigned permissions and current app version.
