Can you tell us about the origins of your company and the key services you offer? How did you venture into the field of renewable energy, specifically battery energy storage systems?
Originally started out as just an electrical company. After subcontracting for a few years with larger solar PV companies, where we learned the trade, we decided to focus on the fast-growing renewable sector.

The company comprises six dedicated team members and is poised for significant growth. With increasing demand for renewable energy solutions and a strong foundation in technical expertise, the business is actively investing in skills development, expanding its operational capacity, and exploring new partnership opportunities to support its long-term growth strategy.
In which geographical areas do you primarily operate, and what would you say are people’s attitudes, both home and commercial, to renewable energy?
We mainly cover the Essex and East London area whilst also venturing across the water into Kent. People are understanding that solar PV and battery storage are an investment which will save money in the long run.
What motivated your decision to partner with AlphaESS UK for battery energy storage solutions? How has this partnership enhanced the value you provide to your customers?
I have been hearing a lot of good things regarding AlphaESS products and really like the sleek look, where cables are hidden whilst looking very modern.

Our recent installation at a commercial premises involved removing three old inverters and several batteries, which were replaced with two AlphaESS Smile-T10 inverters and four new batteries. This system is outperforming its predecessor.

Staying actively involved with several industry organisations and professional bodies allows me to keep fully informed of the latest legislation, regulatory updates, and best practice guidance. This ensures that our services remain compliant, forward-thinking, and aligned with the evolving needs of both domestic and commercial clients.
What advice would you give to someone considering integrating battery energy storage into their home or business? How does AlphaESS facilitate this transition?
It’s a straightforward decision for anyone looking to take control of their energy use. I would advise that grants and funding, or upfront payment for solar PV, be reintroduced. Giving people without the capital to spend a chance to save on their energy bills and help the world bring down its carbon emissions.
Looking ahead, how do you see renewable energy and battery energy storage evolving in the UK’s energy landscape? What are your company’s plans for growth and adaptation in this changing environment?
We believe that the renewables sector is poised for continued growth, with various types of systems being introduced. Our company stays current with the times and continually seeks to upskill, possessing a comprehensive understanding of all systems available.
