Through AlphaCloud and the AlphaESS App, users of compatible systems can view reported information about solar generation, battery charge, household or site consumption and electricity exchanged with the grid. Depending on the installed system and account permissions, users may also be able to access schedules, operating modes and selected system settings.
Displayed information depends on the system’s internet connection, communications equipment and reporting interval. AlphaCloud should support understanding and operation of the system, but it does not replace professional system design, installation or technical assessment.
The AlphaESS App gives end users mobile access to the monitoring and management functions available for their compatible AlphaESS system. Users can view how electricity is generated, stored and used, check battery status and access supported settings. This can help households and businesses better understand system operation and make informed decisions about their energy use.

Installed as part of a complete system
Battery location, mounting, clearances, protection, cable routes, temperature, network connection and commissioning must be assessed by a competent approved installer. The product's IP rating does not remove the need for a suitable site.
Once commissioned, homeowners can use the AlphaESS App to view system performance and configured energy flows. AlphaCloud access and available functions depend on the system, account type and approved support route.

AlphaESS announced ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its information security management system in 2026, with a stated scope covering residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale energy storage solutions.
