The platform can support AC-coupled, DC-coupled and hybrid-coupled architectures, creating options for new solar installations, selected retrofit projects and sites where generation and storage use different connection routes.
AlphaESS UK or an authorised commercial project partner must confirm the equipment, metering, export controls, inverter compatibility, protection and grid requirements before the system architecture is approved.

Compact and pre-installed
The main cabinet brings together battery storage, PCS, DC/DC, STS and EMS within an approximately 1.5 square metre footprint. Factory integration reduces the amount of battery assembly required on site and helps coordinate the principal system components within one enclosure.
Installation still requires an appropriate foundation, lifting plan, electrical protection, equipment clearances, communications, grid compliance and professional commissioning.

Layered safety from battery site
STORION H30/H50 G3 uses lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry together with battery and system monitoring, HVAC thermal management, aerosol fire response and smoke and temperature detection.
Safe deployment also depends on the complete site design, including foundations, electrical protection, access, separation, environmental conditions, emergency planning, commissioning and maintenance. This presents the product features confidently without suggesting that cabinet features alone make every installation safe.

The STORION H30 G3 provides 30 kW nominal output with 72.3 kWh standard battery capacity, expandable to 144.6 kWh using the approved extension arrangement. The STORION H50 G3 provides 50 kW nominal output with 120.5 kWh standard capacity, expandable to 241 kWh. The correct model depends on the site’s load profile, generation, grid connection and operating strategy.
Potentially. STORION H30/H50 G3 can support AC-coupled, DC-coupled and hybrid-coupled architectures. Existing inverters, metering, export controls, protection and grid connection arrangements must be reviewed before a retrofit design is confirmed.
Compatible configurations can support selected loads during a grid interruption. Backup requires an approved electrical design and switching arrangement. Available power and duration depend on the selected model, connected loads, stored energy, protection settings and commissioning.

The main cabinet measures approximately 1,120 mm wide by 1,300 mm deep, giving a footprint of approximately 1.5 square metres. Additional space is required for equipment clearances, foundations, access, electrical equipment and maintenance. Expanded capacity also requires an extension battery cabinet.
Supported communications can enable compatible optimisation, flexibility or virtual power plant services. Eligibility depends on the service provider, metering, grid connection, commercial agreement and approved system integration.
The main STORION H30/H50 G3 cabinet is rated IP55, supporting installation in a suitable outdoor location. The site assessment must still consider temperature, drainage, access, clearances, foundations, noise, environmental exposure and maintenance requirements.
A five-year product warranty and a ten-year battery warranty. Coverage, performance conditions, registration requirements and exclusions are governed by the current AlphaESS UK warranty documentation provided for the installed system.
